The schemes available

Each year we look for a small number of graduates to join schemes in our Investment, Distribution, IT Services, Operations and Business Management divisions.
It is our expectation that in successfully completing their chosen scheme, participants will :
- have developed a firm grounding in a range of areas within the business group.
- have experienced fast track progression within their field and be on course to take up management and leadership positions.
- be making a significant contribution to the success of the business.

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOW ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR IT GRADUATE SCHEME

• IT Services Scheme (London)

In this fast-paced environment you will get the opportunity to work across a number of different IT disciplines through a rotation programme. You will be exposed to various technologies and financial systems and processes to equip you with the relevant qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience to progress your career in IT.

Around 120 people work within IT Services, responsible for the delivery of IT Systems and infrastructure to support a demanding and successful business.

Key technologies include the Microsoft range of operating systems, databases and development environments, market data services, and technical infrastructure such as WAN’s, LAN’s SAN’s and associated system and service management tools – all underpinning a range of investment related systems.

Initially the candidate will be placed on short assignments to first line support functions, which will provide a useful insight into Threadneedle’s business functions, and IT systems and processes.  This will be followed by six to eight month assignments with specialist support or project teams.
