As a Graduate in Distribution, you are instantly exposed to all parts of the business. Unlike many larger firms, you get to know, work with and learn from some of the most senior people in the business. This ensures that the learning curve is steep, taking on important responsibilities right from the start. Any given day could have you working with a Global equity fund manager one minute, and a BBC television producer the next. Within two years I will have worked in four different areas of the business, so that by the end I will have gained a wealth of knowledge about the inner workings of the business, which will inevitably serve me well in my developing career at Threadneedle.
Threadneedle has a very ambitious culture, and as part of that, provides graduates with a lot of support, guidance and training. For example, I have a bi-weekly one-to-one personal progress meeting with a member of the Distribution Leadership Team, and within one month of joining I began studying for the Investment Management Certificate.
Threadneedle really is somewhere I can grow and develop, somewhere that earns great loyalty through its team-focused foresight, somewhere I can see me adding value far into the future.
