We have steadily built our capabilities in corporate and institutional banking and through the ABN AMRO acquisition now have an enhanced global presence with offices in over 50 countries. As a result we have developed from what was essentially a UK company with ambition and passion several years ago, to a worldwide organisation today.
Global Markets consists of two businesses:
- Global Banking & Markets supports the requirements of large international corporations and institutions, providing access to a full range of services in worldwide financial markets. RBS is the clear leader in the UK corporate market and we have significant reach in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East and Africa.
- Global Transaction Services is a top five global payments business, with expertise in international cash management, trade finance and card issuing and acquiring.
