I was working via another agency for this pharmaceutical company. Hays Resource Management are the Resourcing team for the client and as such manage all the agency relationships and the relationships with their candidates.
I had been having a number if issues with my existing agency, including problems with my pay. In particular, for approx. 8 weeks, my payment wasn’t right when they changed their payment process from monthly invoiced to weekly self-billing. I had to constantly chase them, but the issues were not resolved.
Hays RM were really helpful in speaking with the agency, trying to get the matter resolved on my behalf, and providing me with advice on how to try and resolve the issues.
When it came to my contract renewal with the client, I advised my agency that I would not be renewing my contract through them because they hadn’t represented me well. They understood and said that they would accept my decision.
The consultant I dealt with was really informative. She advised me that I could register with one of Hays’ preferred suppliers, including Hays Resource Management. I wasn’t pressurised, and because the consultants from Hays RM had been so helpful and professional throughout the issues I’d had, I decided to ask Hays to represent me. My consultant came to see me with a number of registration forms/BACS forms etc and took the time to help me to fill them in.
If I need to speak with anyone from Hays RM now, they always come back to me. I have had no issues with payment since I started working through them 2 months ago.
The move has been justified as the service I have received has been excellent – no problems at all. I wouldn’t hesitate in working for Hays RM again.
