I am a specialist Interim Manager and I was looking for a contract to do high level Transactional HR work. I saw an ad on a website which Hays Resource Management was advertising, as they were acting for a client that needed my type of skills.
I found my Hays RM consultant to be very professional and honest both about the type of assignment and the needs of the client. She had a good understanding of my skills and she helped me to prepare for the interview due to her briefing and gave me some good material for research. I could tell that she had many years of experience at managing candidate expectations and those of the client which is a fine balancing act. She also went out of her way to promote me which I really appreciated. No one likes to feel like a number.
I am really enjoying the role and I have had quite a lot of contact with Hays, as we are now recruiting for other roles. My only issue is that although my pay is always accurate, the process is a little onerous, as we have to lodge timesheet manually and I am used to an electronic process! I would certainly recommend Hays RM to other candidates.
